Cornerportal, bringing local media to digital signage!

Petralian is involved since the first half of 2009 with a very exciting start up company in Ottawa with the goal of bringing hyper local media to digital signage.

The concept is simple, the digital signage is to be placed in public venues and spaces like bars, lounges, musea and linked to the Cornerportal core. By means of SMS, email and different other options a user can comment on a discussion or topic on the venue screen, this opens countless possibilities and alternations of Cornerportal applications. The application can be used to list events, promote products, voting portal, a learning interative portal in a museum, a fun application for bored customers to enjoy while sipping on a coffee, etc...

The project will be running its own API and every screen is customized and tailor fit to the customer, from the Cornerportal website the user is able to link his account to his phone number, email, chat nickname and create his own online profile which on its turn extends the user experience to new levels.

The project is currently in alpha stage with first venue sign-ups but has a strong interest and lots of possibilities, stay in touch!
